Yesterday, Wednesday 24 April, the medical examiner together with some consultants performed an autopsy on the body of 13 month old baby, who lost his life at the hands of the two Pitbulls. Unfortunately, a sad reality emerged from this examination.

There are five people investigate for the crime of complicity in a negligent crime, for failure to look after the animals. They would be the little boy's uncles, his mother and also the owners of the two dogs, who had been left free at the time of the events.

This little one's drama happened on the morning of Monday 22 April 2024, in the municipality of Eboli, in the province of Salerno. From what emerged from the investigations, the two Pitbulls were actually not from the family of Franceco Pio D'Amaro, but of some of his mother's friends. These people, however, did not live in that same house.

Yesterday, Wednesday 24 April, the medical examiner carried out the procedure the autopsy on the child's body. Important details emerged from this examination. Among the various fractures, one emerged in vertebral column, also found a brain trauma and also several lacerated and contused wounds, caused precisely by the bites of large dogs.
