The first half of September in St. Petersburg entered the top 20 coldest in the history of the city. This was announced on Friday, September 16, by the chief St. Petersburg weather forecaster Alexander Kolesov in his Telegram channel.
“The average temperature for 15 days in St. Petersburg was +10.5 degrees. and moved to 19th place among the coldest, ”he wrote.
Kolesov noted that the increase in air temperature in recent days has affected the general temperature background, writes 78.ru.
Earlier, the chief St. Petersburg forecaster said that the first 10 days of September in the city were the coldest in 137 years. Thus, the average ten-day air temperature in early September of this year was 9.5 degrees, while in 1885 the figure was 9.3 degrees.
