Kommersant: The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against employees of Crocus City Hall
The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against two employees of the Crocus City Hall concert hall. Kommersant (Kommersant) writes about this.
These employees have been charged with providing services that do not meet safety requirements. Now the suspects are under recognizance not to leave the place; they categorically deny their guilt. The publication notes that the investigation is also not entirely sure of the guilt of the defendants.
The main complaint against the concert hall workers is that the fire exits from the hall were closed, and many spectators were unable to leave the burning building. The accused claim that the fire exits were open, it was just that the escape routes were blocked by terrorists.
