This year there will be a lot of interesting content in terms of series, because only in the following months we will see the return of House of the Dragon and even that of You, a thriller that has gradually gained popularity despite being a release that is considered minor by critics. For its part, there is also a program inspired by the saga of falloutwhich has been speculated about its quality since the initial announcement, but fortunately, in a few more days fans will be able to get a first-hand look at it.
As usual, the specialized press has had early access to the show to tell people whether or not it is worth paying for the streaming service to see it, and in this case there is something that is quite surprising, since on the site known as Rotten Tomatoes They have given it a score that is not bad at all. And that is something strange coming from critics, since these types of adaptations are not usually liked too much. Even with that, the series has earned 91% by the time this note is published.
Here are some reviews:
Movie Files: Despite never having played the game before, I had a lot of fun with Fallout. I was impressed with the world building and enjoyed the retro futuristic aesthetic and design. Although the whimsical tone wasn't always for me, it was extremely entertaining!
SuperHeroHype: Fallout is an aptly named show for many reasons, one of which is its effect on the viewer. It's a take-no-prisoners blast from the start, but the real effectiveness only comes in once it's had a chance to linger.
CineXpress: A damn explosion! Amazing production, violent and bloody action and an amazing, wickedly dark sense of humor. Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan nailed the gonzo tone. Another big victory for “video game to live action” adaptations.
Chicago Sun Times: A clever and volatile cocktail consisting of social commentary, over-the-top action sequences, outrageous dialogue and a constant stream of surprising twists, set against the backdrop of the obligatory Dystopian Future.
This is the synopsis of the series:
Fallout is the story of the haves and the have-nots in a world where there is almost nothing left to have. Two hundred years after the apocalypse, the kindly inhabitants of the luxurious fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hell their ancestors left behind and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, joyfully strange, and highly violent universe awaiting them.
Remember that fallout releases the April 12 on Prime Video.

Editor's note: It's good to know that at least it's not a disaster, so we'll have to keep an eye on it next Friday when it finally premieres on the platform. Of course, there will be the question of whether they will release the entire show or if it will be once a week.
