All the University of Guadalajara (UdeG) will carry out a work stoppage today, Friday, April 19, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., to demand the location of the student Aldo González alive Seville.
During the strike at the University Center for Health Sciences (CUCS), on Thursday, April 18, it was agreed to strike the entire UdeG.
Students and teachers met during the work stoppage and They demanded that the authorities quickly locate the student second semester of the degree in Higher University Technician in Dental Prosthetics.
“We demand that all authorities involved do all efforts, quickly, effectively and forcefully so that Aldo returns homeso that he can return to his classrooms and continue preparing as a great professional,” declared the rector of CUCS, Dr. José Francisco Muñoz Valle.
For her part, the president of the Federation of University Students (FEU), Zoé Robledo, mentioned that there are 22 students of the UdeG missing.
“There are 22 students from the University of Guadalajara who remain without being located, we need to find them. It is a forceful demand to the state government, to the prosecutor's office, to all the authorities that are involved in the search. They are responsible for security, that they get to do their job, act and investigate and find, that is the demand that we make from the organization,” he said.
Finally, Hermilio Emiliano Álamo, a classmate of Aldo, told how desperate it is to search for him without success.
“We, his classmates, are his second family, and like his parents and brother, we still don't know anything since Sunday. It is desperate how, from morning until night, we do everything possible to locate him,” the student shared.
