This innovative gaming experience will immerse players in a horror survival scenario, where they will have to face hordes of hungry zombies in a world ravaged by the apocalypse.
The End of The World is presented as a series of four independent game manuals, each dedicated to a different apocalypse that threatens human existence. Zombie apocalypse, the first sourcebook in the series, invites players to fight for survival in a familiar setting transformed into a battlefield against the undead. Unlike other role-playing games, here the participants do not play superhuman heroes, but versions of themselvesstruggling to survive in real places and against concretely possible threats.
The 152 page manual, beautifully illustrated and bound, offers unprecedented depth of gameplay with five unique scenarios. Each scenario is divided into two parts: “During the apocalypse” describes the arrival and impact of the zombies, while “After the apocalypse” explores the long-term consequences of such a catastrophe on a global scale. Players will be able to choose to face the entire duration of the apocalypse or focus on specific dramatic moments.
Inside the game, scenarios vary notably, for example from a viral epidemic to global radiation that transforms humans into zombies, or yet there is another scenario with humans transformed into feral creatures by dark manipulators. This variety will allow players to experience different atmospheres and challenges, keeping the game fresh and engaging.
In terms of gameplay, The End of The World encourages players to explore and interact with richly detailed post-apocalyptic environments and non-player characters (NPCs), which offer numerous opportunities for rescue missions, assaults on enemy settlements and the discovery of the origins of the catastrophe in an attempt to stop it.
