The end-of-semester exams for the third semester of the academic year 2023-2024 begin tomorrow, and will continue until the 14th of this month, targeting students in grades three through 12 in public and private schools that follow the Ministry of Education’s curriculum.
The Emirates Foundation for School Education has identified eight guidelines for the end-of-semester exams of the third semester of the current academic year 2023-2024, which include applying the exams on paper for the third and fourth grades through physical attendance at the school, and applying the exams on paper and electronically for the fifth and ninth grades for the two tracks (general and advanced) in attendance at the school. Exams are administered on paper and electronically, according to subject and grade, for grades five to 12, through physical attendance at school for all students in public and private education schools that apply the Ministry’s curriculum.
The Foundation explained that 12th grade students registered in private education schools take all their exams in public public education schools, under joint supervision and coordination with the school branch coordinators, and 12th grade students registered in Tolerance schools take all their exams in accordance with the directives of the school branches, and according to the directives, the exams taken by students are conducted. The 12 “in writing and electronically” in two periods, with their summer vacation starting on the first of next July, while the summer vacation for teaching, technical and administrative staff begins on July 15.
The 12th grade students, in the various educational tracks (general, advanced, and elite), are scheduled to begin the exam race in the English language subject tomorrow (June 5), in two periods, “writing and reading,” electronically, followed by the mathematics subject, “written and electronic,” on the 6th of that month, while the students of… The general and advanced tracks take the health sciences exam on Friday, the 7th of the same month, while elite students take the biology exam on the same day. Students from all tracks take the physics exam on Monday, June 10, “in writing and electronically,” in two periods.
Students apply to take the Arabic language exam “on electronic paper” on the 11th of the same month, provided that they take the exam in the social studies subject on Wednesday the 12th of that month, and the Islamic education subject on the 13th of the same month.
Students in the 12th grade will conclude their exams on the 14th, with chemistry or biology, while “advanced and elite” students will conclude with chemistry only on the same day.
