He pointed out that the hospital performed a qualitative and accurate surgical operation for a wounded Palestinian who was injured by shrapnel as a result of the aerial bombardment, which led to a fracture and cut in the leg nerve and caused a disability in foot movement. He explained that the treating medical team performed a rerouting of the tendons from behind the ankle to the front to restore movement to the foot. The hospital continues to install prosthetic limbs for the wounded and injured who lost their limbs during the war in the Gaza Strip. A specialized medical team takes measurements of the injured with extreme precision and then manufactures the limbs they need, while the patient receives physical therapy in conjunction with motor and psychological rehabilitation.
