The round of 16 stage of the AFC Champions League for the 2023-2024 edition ended, with 4 clubs from the West qualifying, and the same from the East, and the confrontations did not witness surprising results, but rather the most worthy, the most powerful and the most experienced advanced throughout the long history of the tournament.

At the top of the list and the only one from the East is South Korea's Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, which qualified for the 11th time to the quarter-finals, out of 16 entries, and in this edition was able to eliminate its local rival, Pohang Steelers, with a score of 3-1, back and forth.
In second place is Al Hilal Saudi Arabia, which qualified for the tenth time in its history, after defeating Sepahan of Iran with a score of 6-2 over the two matches. They are followed by Al-Ittihad Al-Saudi in third place, having qualified for the quarter-finals 9 times, and the “Tigers” were able to defeat Uzbekistan’s Nafbakhor with difficulty 2-1 in the second leg, after a scoreless draw in the first leg, and with the same situation and results, Al-Ain was able to qualify at the expense of Uzbekistan’s Nasaf with difficulty, to raise the score. The number of times he qualified is a historic 7 times, ranking fourth on the list.
As for the rest of the clubs qualifying for the quarter-finals, Ulsan of South Korea qualified for the fifth time in history to the quarter-finals, while Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia is attending for the fourth time, all in a row in the quarter-finals. While China's Shandong qualified for the third time in its history, Japan's Yokohama F. Marinos remains the new guest in this round by qualifying for the first time in its history.
