A Far Cry 5 player is using the game's map editor to recreate the iconic Whiterun The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim.
This is YouTuber Mojo Swoptops who shared a short video of his work so far, in which he walks the main road of his Whiterun recreation. Starting from the entrance to the city, he passes various recognizable points of interest in the city that forms the starting point of the Dragonborne adventures in TES V: Skyrim.
“I decided not to replicate it 1:1 and instead have fun using some of the other cool assets I have available,” Mojo Swoptops said in the video description. “I'm happy with the progress so far, but nothing can match the quality and artistic direction of the original Bethesda product.”
How far will the project go?
At the moment it's just the main road, but it looks like a recreation of Whiterun one day it will include the entire city.
On Reddit, one of the places where the creative shared his project, players asked whether he intends to continue: Mojo Swoptops has confirmed that it is working on other parts of the city.
It should also be noted that this isn't the first time Mojo has recreated Skyrim content – they've done this before Riften, the home of the thieves' guildthus demonstrate their dedication and talent.
