The DPR told about samples of foreign weapons seized in Ukraine

Servicemen of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) seized foreign weapons during the operation. This was told by the representative of the People’s Militia of the DPR Eduard Basurin, reports RIA News.

According to him, weapons samples were seized during the military operation to liberate the regions. The seized weapons are supplied to Ukraine by Western countries, he stressed.

“We have at our disposal seven units of portable anti-tank guided missiles NLAW of Swedish-British production, as well as Ukrainian-made Stugna-P anti-tank guided missiles,” he said.

Earlier, on February 21, Basurin spoke about the difficult situation in the Donbass. He called what was happening a genocide and turned to Russia for help. In addition, the head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, announced a sharp aggravation of the situation and appealed to Russian President Vladimir Putin with a request to recognize the independence of the republic.

Because of this, on Thursday, February 24, Russia launched a military operation to protect Donbass.
