Fabio Quartararo unlike what happened in Thailand, he presented himself in the interview ring at the end of the Australian Grand Prix, where he collected the second consecutive zero, the third in the last four races given that in Aragon in the first meters of the race he hit Marc Marquez after a loss of the rear of the latter inevitably finding himself on the ground.
The passage in mixed zone on the part of El Diablo it was also an opportunity for the reigning world champion to exchange a few words with his colleagues. The official MotoGP website captured the dialogue between Quartararo and Marquez and between the Yamaha rider and the Australian winner Alex Rins. Here are their exchanges.
Quartararo (to Marquez): “Congratulations friend (for second place, ed).
Marquez: “Thanks, and what happened to you, where did you exaggerate when braking?”
Quartararo: “First I went straight to Curve-4 and then Curva-2 closed in front of me”.
Marquez: “Yesterday at Turn-4 we had the wind ahead helping us to brake, today we had to disconnect much earlier. It also happened to me twice that I could not find the point of the rope perfectly. Anyway come on, the gap in the standings is not that dramatic“.
Quartararo: “No it is not. I will work even more intensely ”.
Marquez: “That was what I meant.”
Quartararo (to Rins): “Congratulations on the victory”.
Rins: “How did your competition go?”
Quartararo: “I fell”.
Rins: “No… you fell because you ended up in a puddle? (the Warm-Up had been wet, ed)
Quartararo: “I do not believe”.
Rins: “Did it close when you entered the bend?”
Quartararo: “A little further than the curved entrance”.
Rins: “Do not give up”.
