Suddenly, the Egyptian broadcaster, Sherine Dweik, died on Wednesday evening, after a quick illness.
The media, Mervat El-Meligy, published on her Facebook account the news of the death of her colleague, due to stomach pain that lasted only a few hours, after which she breathed her last.
Dweik graduated from the Faculty of Arts, Department of English, then joined Egyptian TV and worked for the Egyptian Channel One and the Egyptian Satellite Channel.
She presented a number of programmes, including “Text an Hour of Press” and “Album of Memories”, as well as the “Janab Al-Safir” program.
The late broadcaster received offers to work in art, but she preferred media work and presenting programs.
