Antonio Soler stars in a new edition of the ABC Culture Classroom, which will take place this November 21 from 7:30 p.m. at the Madrid Círculo de Bellas Artes (Alcalá, 42). The writer will talk to Carlos Aganzodirector of the Vocento Foundation, of his latest book ‘The Day of the Wolf’.
This book is set in February 1937, when the war in Spain shows its most merciless face in the exodus of those fleeing from Malaga along a winding road, “a river of people, animals and vehicles over which the roar of sounds appeared. engines” and shrapnel from bombs.
It is about his grandmother’s trip to hell and the family nightmare that populated his childhood dreams. Antonio Solerwho returns to that “hour of the wolf” with his latest novel.
