Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva will take to the ice for the first time in front of the public on July 22. The athlete will take part in Tatiana Navka’s ice show “Ruslan and Lyudmila”, reported on website organizers
The athlete will play the role of Lyudmila, performances with her participation will also take place on July 24, 29 and 31. The show will take place in Sochi. The price of tickets for the performance starts from 2 thousand rubles.
On March 6, lawyer Anna Antseliovich stated that it would be safe for Valieva to perform only in completely commercial shows. “If there is any support from the state, one of the co-organizers, for example, or an information partner is the sports department, then such participation is prohibited,” she emphasized.
On January 29, the Court of Arbitration for Sport disqualified Valieva for four years for violating anti-doping rules. The period of suspension is counted from the moment a positive test for the prohibited drug trimetazidine is taken – December 25, 2021.
