Finally online official Italian trailer of the reboot of The Ravenwhich particularly shows the new Eric Dravenstarring Bill Skarsgård, Shelly Webster, played by FKA Twigs and many of the other characters who will make up the cast of the film, soon to be released in cinemas.
There was a lot of curiosity around how it would be handled style of this reboot, considering that of the original 1994 film and, above all, the comic from which it was based. As you can see, director Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman, Ghost in the Shell) and his colleagues seem to have opted to tell a completely different story, very distant from the gothic vision that characterized it.

The official synopsis is quite revealing on the matter: Eric Draven and Shelly Webster, linked by a deep love, are brutally killed by a gang of criminals. Faced with the possibility of saving Shelly, his one true love, by sacrificing himself, Eric embarks on a ferocious and merciless revenge against their killers, traveling across the world of the living and the dead determined to make things right.”
In short, it seems to be a film designed for a modern young audience, which uses the original story only as inspiration. We'll see how it goes when it comes out in cinemas.
