The court keeps open the instruction on the sale of gold from the exclaimas of Belorado

The Court of Briviesca (Burgos) maintains open the previous proceedings for the sale of gold of the Cars of Belorado in the name of the ex -abaded Laura García de Viedma, according to Burgos Diario in its edition today. The police officer refers to the sale of 1.73 kilos of gold valued at about 130,000 euros and it is stated, according to the information provided by the archbishopric, that García de Viedma “has acted, in fact, as administrator of the goods of the monastery », and the buying company is requested to“ refrain from performing any action with the goods acquired until the legitimate domain of this person is accredited on the objects indicated ».

From the Management Commission they assure that in its power there are seven invoices of sale of gold in July and August 2020 for a value that exceeds 250,000 euros -195.686 euros of the monastery of Belorado and 56,480 of the Derio-, as they point out from Diario from Burgos.

The Chief of the Nuns, Francisco Canals defends that part of the money has been used between 2020 and 2024, and during this period they allegedly withdrew «different amounts of money to deal with their emergency situation, because for that the gold is ».
