The actress and presenter Elisa Mouliáa has already denounced Sumar’s until now spokesperson in Congress, Íñigo Errejón, to the National Police, who resigned yesterday amid accusations of sexist behavior. The Police are investigating three different episodes, which began to occur more than three years ago, in which the actress said she felt like a victim of “sexual assault,” according to the complaint to which ABC has had access.
The actress presented the complaint yesterday to the Family and Women Care Unit (UFAM) of the National Police of Madrid, at 8:35 p.m. Mouliáa was the first woman to speak openly about the alleged sexual harassment she suffered from Iñigo Errejon, and yesterday afternoon she announced her intention to denounce the politician. “Hello, I am a victim of sexual harassment by Iñigo Errejon and I want to report it,” he wrote in X.
According to the complaint, to which ABC has had access, the actress and the Más País politician had been talking for a year on Telegram and Instagram and, on the occasion of the presentation of a book by him, he invited her to the event in September 2021. At the end, they went to a bar in the Ópera area, in the center of Madrid and near Errejón’s house, to have a few beers.
She has stated that he was “cold and serious”, which surprised her, because “until that moment the man always maintained a correct attitude towards her.” That night, Elisa had planned to attend a party for a couple of friends who live in Australia and which was being held at the house of that friend’s father. “Out of politeness, I invited him to attend and to my surprise, he accepted.” They asked for a car and headed to the house.
On the way, «Íñigo changed his attitude and became dominant, indicating that he was going to impose three rules on him: the first was that he should not stray too far from him that night; the second, that if he did it, he should not be more than 20 meters away from him and return in a minute, and the third, that that night he should give him a kiss. Something that made the complainant feel “violated and cut off” and decided to remain silent “because of who she was.”
As soon as he entered the building, inside the elevator, Errejón told him: “I’m going to break the third rule right now.” Then, “he grabbed her tightly by the waist and began to kiss her, inserting his tongue into her mouth, leaving her breathless and in a violent manner invading the declarant’s space and making her feel intimidated.”
When they arrived at the party, they danced, drank and chatted with others. “At one point during the night, I started dancing with a friend of mine to a song by Los Secretos, which caused a jealous attack” in his companion. “He grabbed her tightly by the arm and forcibly carried her for about six meters down the hallway, until he put her in a room.”
Inside, Errejón “closed the latch on the door to prevent” Elisa “from escaping, beginning to kiss her and touch her on different parts of her body, especially the area of her breasts and buttocks, not being able to determine if it was above or under the door, although she remembers that he took off her bra while saying lewd phrases to her. “How do you put me”, for example, “without the consent” of the complainant.
Immediately afterwards, the Sumar politician “pushed the complainant onto the bed and the accused took out his virile member, beginning to lick the area of the actress’s breasts.” She felt “paralyzed” and did not consent to anything that happened. He said he wanted to stay at the party, arguing that his friend had been left alone. But Errejón responded that “he left the room with the condition that in twenty minutes they both had to leave the party to Íñigo’s house, since he intended to call a vehicle.” Elisa agreed to this because “she wanted everything that was happening to end as soon as possible.” All this lasted about twenty minutes, he explains in the complaint.
Both continued at the event for a while longer, “although Íñigo grabbed the complainant’s jacket and put it on very clerically, while telling her: ‘Come on, hurry up, the car has been waiting for five minutes.'”
On the way to his house, Elisa received a call from her father in which he told her that her daughter, who was one year old at the time, “had a fever of forty, which worried her a lot but not her companion, who did not react.” at all”. He continued “cold and impassive to what was happening, not being interested in any way in the state of his little daughter, not even going so far as to offer her the possibility of taking her to her parents’ home.” She felt “very bad”, she was “worried about her young daughter and did not fully understand the attitude shown” by the accused.
They arrived at his house. Without saying a word, “he again began to kiss the complainant on the lips, while touching her breasts and buttocks, outside her clothes, while he tried to take her to her room.”
Elisa told him “that she was feeling very uncomfortable and that, in addition, she was still worried about her daughter.” «Everything that was happening seemed very violent to me, so I ended up telling him: ‘It’s just yes, it seems unbelievable that this is happening to me with you. Don’t you know what seduction, timing and listening are?’ Errejón’s response was: “Thank you, that will help me for future meetings.”
The actress ends up, when questioned by the agents, stating that she does feel like a victim of a sexual crime. The National Police is already investigating the case.
The politician from Sumar, in his statement broadcast on the social network limit of the contradiction between the character and the person. It would be his party that, hours later, announced that Errejón had admitted the veracity of the accusations of sexist behavior on social networks.
