The Murcian Health Service wants to prioritize face-to-face care after the decrease in incidence
The coronavirus pandemic has been remitting for more than a month in the Region of Murcia. Daily infections, incidence and hospital pressure decrease week after week and day after day. For this reason, in recent weeks the regional government decided to eliminate all the restrictions present in the Community, such as the Covid passport or time limits. Now it is the turn of the health centers, which are beginning to return to the normality that existed before the arrival of the health crisis.
This is why the Covid-19 Monitoring Committee has agreed, as THE TRUTH has learned, that from next week the alert levels of the Primary Care teams will cease to have effect. This means that face-to-face care is prioritized and that the reinforcement groups for the coronavirus by areas will continue to be in charge of the work related to infections to relieve the pressure of the health centers in relation to the analysis of infected patients.
The Murcian Health Service will work from this week with the teams from the respective health areas to implement this measure and be able to relieve the rest of the staff of work so that face-to-face care returns to treat other conditions in these centers as before the pandemic. , a priority from now on.
hospital visits
Despite this new advance, the Minister of Health, Juan José Pedreño, indicated that “the limitation to one person is maintained” in terms of the maximum number of companions who can visit a patient in any hospital in the Region of Murcia. “The pandemic is not over yet, we cannot forget it and we must be clear about it,” he argued.
