Commander of the Ukrainian Navy Neizhpapa: The Crimean Bridge will not last until the end of the year
The commander of the Naval Forces (Navy Forces) of Ukraine, Alexei Neizhpapa, agreed that the Crimean Bridge can be considered a potential “dead man.” He shared this opinion in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Gordon on YouTube-channel.
Neizhpapa added that he knew how to implement this plan and suggested that everything could be done before the end of this year. “I think we won’t have to wait long. At least this year for sure (it won’t happen),” he said.
Earlier, the head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, assessed the need to build an underground tunnel across the Kerch Strait, duplicating the route of the Crimean Bridge. He said that although it is technically possible to implement such a project, it does not make sense since the bridge is well protected.
