The Torrelavega City Council continues to develop the ‘Torrelavega Natural Connection’ project. Thus, this November there will be guided walks to Las Tablas park on the 16th, and to La Viesca park on the 23rd, in both cases from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The objective of this initiative, free and which has been taking place since June, is make known the fauna, flora and natural spaces of the municipality.

The project, led by the City Council in collaboration with the Municipal Board of Education-SERCA and SEO/Birdlife, has the support of the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO) within the framework of the Recovery Plan , Transformation and Resilience (PRTR), funded by the European Union.
