Liga MX announced the match schedule for the 2024 Apertura Tournament that will start on July 5. The tournament will have four double dates: Matchday 3, Matchday 8, Matchday 13 and Matchday 16. While the Play-In will remain with dates to be played between November 20 and 24.
The quarterfinals will be played between November 27 and December 1; the semifinals between December 4 and 8; and the finals will be played on December 12, with the first leg, and the second leg on December 15.
If Club Pachuca reaches the final, the first leg will be held on December 26 and the return leg on December 29. This is because the Tuzos will play the Intercontinental Cup from December 12 to 22 after being champion of the Concacaf Champions Cup 2024.
The tournament will start for the Sacred Flock on June 6 at the Akron Stadium when they host Toluca on Matchday 1. Their first meeting as visitors will be on July 12 when they face Tijuana in the Caliente.

On Matchday 7, the red and white team will have its first classic of the tournament when it visits América on September 14 at a venue to be determined because the Azteca Stadium will not be available due to remodeling for the 2026 World Cup.
Their next relevant match will be on Matchday 9 against Cruz Azul on the Ciudad de los Deportes Stadium field, the Clásico Tapatío will be two days later when they face Atlas in Jalisco and on Matchday 15 they will host Club Universidad Nacional at home
Between Matchday 4 and 5 there will be a one-month break to compete in the Leagues Cup 2024 against Major League Soccer clubs. There will also be three mandatory breaks per FIFA date: the first from September 2 to 12, the second from October 7 to 17 and the third from November 11 to 21.
