The Callisto Protocol is the protagonist of a new video published by Game Informer, which includes sequences of gameplay unpublished and an interview with Glen Schofield in which the author talks about origins of the game.
A few weeks after the Summer Game Fest trailer, The Callisto Protocol therefore returns to show itself in action, with a series of scenes that include exploratory phases within claustrophobic scenarios and some fights.
In the meantime, as mentioned, it is possible to see Schofield’s speech that he speaks of how the idea was born behind this project, when he took a vacation and visited the desert of Tucson, Arizona, to rest but also to come up with some good ideas.
The author began to draw imagining some possible stories, including that of The Callisto Protocol. The ten pages of the original concept, which nevertheless required something like a year and a half of work, was then transformed into the game we see today.
Will Glen Schofield’s new survival horror hold a candle to his most famous work, Dead Space? We will find out at the release of The Callisto Protocol, set for December 2 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
