Arup, a British multinational engineering and consulting company, expects to increase its turnover by 13% this fiscal year in Spain, reaching 40 million euros, coinciding with its 30th anniversary in the country.

At the shareholder level, Rodríguez points out that all the shares of the international group belong to a foundation, which allocates the profits to internal R&D, reserves or distribution of benefits among employees. Its strategy involves organic growth rather than making purchases.
Currently, the group is reviewing its strategic plan, with its sights set on 2030 and after exiting all the businesses it still had ties to oil and whose activity amounted to around 80 million euros worldwide.
Rodríguez anticipates that the company is now focused on achieving a balance between its engineering and architectural design activities and its technical and strategic consultancies, having a staff of 300 people in Spainhalf architects and the other half consultant-oriented planners.
