The biotechnology company Kimitec has opened a collective dismissal process, the impact of which has not yet been specified, although it expects to exceed thirty employees as it is an Employment Regulation File (ERE). The upcoming employment adjustment hopes to align the group’s organizational structure with current operational needs, as elEconomista.es has learned. In fact, the objective of companies is to improve operational efficiency and ensure long-term sustainability. In this way, Kimitec hopes to “continue leading the transition of the chemical towards sustainable, natural and responsible food production“, according to statements from the company to this newspaper.
Among other details, the group highlights that this adjustment will not have an impact on the collaborators of its international operations, while explaining that “the company is carrying out a strategic readjustment – at all levels – with several proactive measures that ensure a more flexible treasuryand that they strengthen financial operations, without compromising the commitment to innovation or quality standards.
From now on, and once the negotiation table has been established, a period of 15 days opens between the company and the workers’ representatives, in which process the initial impact anticipated by the company will transcend. Among other corporate values, the company distinguishes itself in the market by the use of “avant-garde practices and a deep commitment to sustainability”, through techniques “that not only preserve, but restore agricultural ecosystems.” For this, The group focuses its attention “on the continuous improvement of the soil“, maximizing crop productivity and promoting biodiversity, by increasing water retention capacity, reducing erosion and improving soil fertility.”
