‘The Darkness’
This Icelandic thriller series is based on the novels by Ragnar Jónasson. It tells the story of homicide detective Hulda Hermannsdóttir (Lena Olin), who has to investigate a shocking murder case while trying to overcome her own personal traumas. Faced with an imminent early retirement and the obligation to work with a new partner, she is determined to find the murderer, even if she has to risk her own life to do so.

‘Assault on the Central Bank’
Miguel Herrán and Hovik Keuchkerian meet again, this time without Dalí masks and with María Pedraza not as a hostage in this series based on the robbery at the headquarters of the Central Bank of Barcelona on May 23, 1981, three months after 23F. What begins as a spectacular robbery soon becomes a real challenge for the new Spanish democracy. The reasons for this assault have not been completely clarified and hypotheses range from an attempted robbery to the obtaining of compromising documents regarding the events of 23F. The robbers have more than 200 hostages in the bank and threaten to kill them if the government does not agree to release Colonel Tejero and three other 23F officials.
