Maybe for some people it may be unknown, but a few years ago it was launched batman ninja, an anime-style film that took the public by surprise, given that they did not expect that the franchise would have a way to venture into this genre of eastern lands. However, the interest of Warner for having their audience in Japan, and that is why they have given a new announcement that could have excited much more than the one itself Suicide Squad Isekai.
Through a new report, Warner Bros. from Japan has revealed that this ninja version of the dark knight will make his return, this with the name of Batman Ninja vs Yakuza League, hinting that there will be more characters from the DC world with this quite striking eastern version. The actor Koichi Yamadera will reprise his role and staff members from the previous film will return, including Kamikaze Dougathe animator behind the opening themes of the CG anime JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.
Here is the description of the 2018 film:
Batman Ninja is a Japanese animated film based on the DC Comics character, Batman. The film was released in 2018 and stands out for transferring the iconic superhero to a Japanese feudal setting. Here I give you an overview of the film:
The plot revolves around Batman and several of his allies and enemies being transported from Gotham City to feudal Japan via a time machine created by Gorilla Grodd. In this new context, Batman faces medieval versions of his classic villains, including the Joker, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, and others, who have become feudal lords and fight for control of the country. Batman, without most of his modern technology, must rely on his abilities and the help of his allies to restore order.
The reception has been mixed. While some viewers and critics praise its visual audacity and innovation in narrative, others find the story chaotic and difficult to follow. However, the film has gained a cult following thanks to its distinctive approach and stunning visual aesthetic.
It is worth mentioning that the July 4th A special panel will be held to Batman Ninja Vs. Yakuza League at Anime Expo 2024, along with Suicide Squad Isekai. So it is possible that within this we can see some kind of progress and perhaps even the release date.

Author’s note: It is possible that it could be a new hit as happened with the first film, we just have to wait for that first trailer to be released in the following months. There may be a lot of information at the expo.
