The Official Gazette of Cantabria (BOC) has published the regulatory bases for the hiring of a multi-purpose administrative assistant and five specialist laborers in the Domestic Waste Collection Department of Aguas Torrelavega. These places are part of the Public Employment Offer of 2022. The call includes a position for a multipurpose administrative assistant, as permanent staff, under an indefinite employment contract.
The selection process will be carried out through a competition-opposition systemin which applicants must pass an eliminatory theoretical test and, subsequently, the assessment of merits. In addition, a reserve list will be created for future motivated temporary hiring in the aforementioned department, canceling the previous pool in force.

On the other hand, five specialist laborer positions are offered, three of them on the night shift and two on the morning shift, also with an indefinite employment contract, intended to reinforce the team in charge of cleaning, irrigation and garbage collection functions in the city. Specifically, three of these workers will be assigned to the collection of organic waste and the other two will cover retirement benefits. As in the previous case, the selection process will consist of an opposition phase and a competition phase, and a reserve list will be established for possible temporary hires.
The objective of the Government team is “to continue covering all the sick leave due to retirement and maintain a stable workforce that allows us to provide good service to residents,” he said in a statement.
