The trailer for was shown during the Guerrilla Collective The Axis Unseenan open-map first-person shooter game, which has its release month confirmed: October 2024.
The Axis Unseen is also a horror game with a heavy metal edge made by a developer (Nate Purkeypile) who worked at Bethesda on games like Skyrim, Starfield and Fallout. He was the art director of Fallout 76 and deputy director/director of Fallout 3’s DLC, Point Lookout.
The Axis Unseen features and trailer
The idea behind the game is to hunt monsters inspired by “ancient folklore” within an open world. On our side we will have developed sensory powers (we will be able to see smells, heat and more) and a bow with elemental arrows (from simple fire to those that can also stop time). We are the hunter, but we will have to be careful not to become the prey.
The music is instead created by Clifford Meyer, member of the legendary post-metal bands ISIS and Red Sparowes. The game will therefore offer a mix of heavy metal and primitive instruments, with the music dynamically adapting to game situations.
As indicated by Steam, the game will also be fully translated into Italian, including dubbing.
