In this first image we can see the object in question flying in the direction of a dark figure -Pedro Sánchez- escorted by two people. In the videos that have been made public, it is not clear whether the object hits the president or not. Moncloa assures that yes.
The object in question would have managed to get around the security cordon from behind, and Pedro Sánchez would immediately be surrounded by his team and escorted to his car.
Another video shows us from the sky the moment after the attempted attack and the moment in which his security team separated him from the rest of the entourage.
This frame allows us to observe that there is a second elongated object that flies in the direction of the position of the President of the Government, although it cannot hit the target, when he is being escorted.
In the video you can see an individual, dressed in yellow, throwing something towards Pedro Sánchez’s position. Next to him, a second individual is armed with another object similar to those previously thrown.
A mob chases Pedro Sánchez and his team to the safety car and yells at him until he manages to get in and leave. Other later images show how Sánchez’s car was attacked and the rear window was destroyed.
