The Moscow Architectural Council approved the project of a skyscraper almost 400 meters high in the Moscow City complex. This was announced on December 7 by the chief architect of the city Sergey Kuznetsov.
“The new generation of Moscow skyscrapers is exactly what we are trying to do now. I am glad that this project fully falls into this ideology,” he said at a meeting of the Architectural Council.
Architect Sergei Tchoban, in turn, called the building “a city evolving upwards.”
“The tower, almost 400 meters high, has a dynamic complex development, in this respect, the tradition of Moscow skyscrapers can be traced, where a massive multi-stage volume thins towards the top and opens differently from each point,” the architect explained.
The tower will become one of the tallest in Moscow. It is planned to place a multifunctional complex with retail facilities, offices, fitness centers, cafes in it.
It is planned to hand over the object in 2030.
Earlier, in 2021, it was reported that the Moscow Department of Transport changed the traffic pattern on the territory of the Moscow City business center. Pedestrian zones, taxi ranks and landing zones were organized there at each building.
Prior to that, in 2019, Deputy Mayor of Moscow Marat Khusnullin spoke about the construction of the One Tower in Moscow City. He noted that the building will become the tallest residential tower in Europe.
