The Aemet gives the date of the arrival of “generalized rains” throughout Spain: attention to a possible DANA

As the organization has confirmed, throughout the week we will have “stormy showers” in the peninsular Mediterranean strip and the Balearic Islands with the arrival of a trough, where its intensity could increase as the days go by. Regarding what will happen in other places, Aemet warns that “in the rest of the peninsula they will be widespread only on Friday.”

This is what the experts from eltiempo.es warn, explaining that, if what is stated in the models is met, this storm could leave rain in its wake throughout the weekend, when it is expected to drop in the northeast of the Peninsula.

Widespread rains due to the passage of a front and a trough

The rainfall has already reached the east of the peninsula, where the arrival of a «lower Mediterranean» The first rains of the week have begun to fall. Over the next few days, in Murcia, Valencian Community, Balearic Islands and points south of Catalonia will be exposed to a humid flow that will leave abundant cloudiness and showers, with rains that could be locally strong and come accompanied by storms.
