The administrative managers will return part of the procedures for temporary vehicle cancellations affected by DANA. The president of the General Council of Colleges of Administrative Managers, Fernando Jesús Santiago Ollero, issued a letter this Monday informing of the measures taken by the union to help those affected by the catastrophe.
Ollero assures that this weekend the General Council and different Colleges have agreed on a series of actions to bring closer collaboration. “One of the procedures that will be repeated the most will be the temporary vehicle withdrawals. The decision has been made to return the amounts collected for these withdrawals when the procedure is carried out through one of our technological platforms,” he points out.
However, remember that the Council cannot intervene in the price that the administrative managers set for the procedures, due to free competition regulations.
The second decision adopted is that some Colleges and the General Council have opened current accounts to raise funds to recover the activity of the agencies as soon as possible. “Let’s not forget that to carry out the procedures we need the agencies to be at full capacity. And we are going to work on it,” says Santiago Ollero.
“If we have learned anything from the pandemic, it is that things can be done hastily or well. It is evident that the anguish that this situation is causing among the victims requires a quick response. That is how it should be. But not hasty. Wait a few hours can be essential to gain time and efficiency later,” he adds in this regard.
The letter indicates that, unlike what happened in the pandemic, both the General State Administration and the Autonomous Community are contacting social graduates to coordinate the management of aid.
