Manzano gave these figures in response to the question asked in plenary by the Unidas representative for Extremadura José Antonio González Frutos, who has reproached the regional government for its “propaganda“in view of the execution reports, especially in the area of investments, in which only 16 of every 100 euros budgeted have been spent.
In his response, Manzano pointed out that, following the historical series of the investment chapter, the execution at the end of the year will be at a level “very similar to that of previous years and with a growth since September of almost 25% “.
He highlighted the execution of the Ministry of Infrastructure that will end the year with approximately 185 million euros executed, which will allow, he listed, the works at the Badajoz Airport to be “99%” completed; the construction of 75 publicly promoted homes in different municipalities in both provinces.
Also that 23.3 million euros have been allocated to dwelling“so necessary” in Extremadura, and that 70% of the new Alcántara bridge has been completed, the work of which will be completed in 2025.

For his part, the Unidas representative for Extremadura has shared that the execution data has left him “surprised” and “stunned” because the party that makes management its “flag” shows that as managers “they walk regularly”.
“You have spent 100 euros on investments, only 16. In capital transfers, which are still investments by third parties – investments by city councils, private companies – 22 euros out of every 100,” said González Frutos. , who has given some examples.
