William Ochoa (7)
Despite having conceded three goals, the goalkeeper prevented at least two other goals. Barely at minute 5 he took a header from Ricardo Chavez, then saved another header at 22′ by Berterame. In another action, he correctly reduced to cut a filtered pass, he covered a shot from the Argentine Rubens Sambueza at 82′ and finally, with his feet, he stopped another header from Ramon Juarez in added time.
However, in the third goal of Berterame the ball went between his legs and he could have done more because of the distance between the two.
Jordan Silva (5.5)
He made certain mistakes that cost dearly and could have been sent off in the second half for cutting off an advance from Berterame at 51′, although the referee Adonai Escobedo decided it was yellow. In the second goal, he wanted to stop the ball with his chest, giving away possession so that the play could be put together against Ochoa.
Already in the third goal, they won his back, but he also avoided a fourth target when he came sweeping to stop an arrival of the Venezuelan John Murillo.
Sebastian Caceres (6)
He played just 30 minutes, since he was injured in the shoulder after a clash with a rival, while waiting to know the medical report.
In the short time, he won a hand-to-hand duel, he gave away possession by wanting to play backwards. He went to 30′.
Miguel Layun (4)
It was not the night of the winger, who to make matters worse was expelled at 84 ‘for a strong stomp on the Uruguayan Facundo Waller, throwing a huge tantrum on his way out.
As much as he tried to do damage in the area with his crosses, most of them were rejected by the defense and when he was in charge of taking the free kicks, he did it in a bad way. From 27 ‘he saw the yellow card for getting involved in a strong argument.
Luis Fuentes (6)
Unlike his teammates, the defender was the most correct in terms of defense, but in the offensive contribution he lacked. He did not return for the complement.
Jonathan Dos Santos (5)
He did not have as much presence in the midfield, which is why for periods of time the potosinos looked better. He lacked the baton to organize the exits, recovering very few balls at the same time.
He said goodbye to 61′.
Salvador Reyes (5)
In the first half it was very difficult for him to appear, although at the end of the account the only shot on goal for the team came from him, although the Argentine Marcelo Barovero shortcut correctly.
For the second half he appeared more, throwing services to the area, however, a bad charge from him in a corner kick generated the mattress off the hook for the second visiting goal.
Alvaro Fidalgo (3)
Totally lost. The Spaniard lost possession several times, without being able to overflow or feed balls to his teammates.
Despite being the most precise when delivering the round, it was of little use to him.
Juan Otero (4)
The Colombian could not shine either, since every time he tried to face each other he ended up losing the duels, without ever being able to come out with flying colors.
As time progressed, he was still unable to weigh in and they decided to remove him from the field at 61′.
Alejandro Zendejas (5)
Another one that happened at night. The attacker could not do any damage on the wings, being easily stopped by the defense, apart from his only shot went high.
He was lucky because in a goal that ended up disallowed for saint Louis, had lost the ball at the start. He was relieved at 45′.
Roger Martinez (7)
The Colombian was the one who most tried to make a difference, however, the iron brand from Potosí stopped him in each attempt, receiving at least seven infractions.
He had already managed to deceive the referee with a nonexistent penalty that the VAR He backed down, but in the end, he managed to discount with a strong shot inside the area, he also assisted in the second Americanist goal.
Jorge Mere (6)
The Spanish defender made his debut at 30′ due to an injury to Caceres. He had no complications, but he did make a mistake by not talking to his teammate in the center, which caused another clear action by the visitors.
Diego Valdes (6)
Much was expected of the Chilean now that he made his debut, but he also caught the team’s malaria. He entered for the complement, without weighing anything, on the contrary, in the third goal of saint Louis he mishandled the ball causing the kickback. In the end, in the area he managed to lower a ball with his head so that the azulcrema discount goal came.
Mauro Lainez (6)
He entered with a lot of determination for the second half, appearing in the first minutes, however, as the duel progressed he faded, disappearing completely.
Henry Martin (7)
He saw action at 61′. In the first local goal, he protected the ball with his body to be able to give it to Roger. Already at 90+3′ he appeared with his head to beat Barovero.
Richard Sanchez (4)
It was the last change, without having much participation in the game, since the American goals came from the confidence that the Potosinos had.
