Buen Fin 2024 has begun and it comes with a huge number of offers and discounts. Around 190,000 companies participate in the campaign to encourage consumption through promotions.

The National Confederation of Chambers of Commerce, Services and Tourism (Concanaco-Servytur) expects that this year’s edition of El Buen Fin will inject close to 165.5 billion pesos into the Mexican economy. The figure represents an increase of 10% compared to last year.

The most sought after products will be technological devices, appliances, clothing, footwear and toys. In addition, a program has been designed to promote the tourism sector and local merchandise.

The best technology offers in Buen Fin

WIRED reviewer Parker Hall gives it an 8 out of 10. “With brilliant brightness, excellent black levels, and voluminous quantum dot colors, the Hisense U7N looks better than any other screen out there.” This price has the right to be seen.” The 65-inch model that Parker tested costs around 20 thousand Mexican pesos, but at Costco it has a savings of 7 thousand. He is 16 gigabytes of storage compared to the last version’s 8GB, it supports Wi-Fi 6E and is quick and easy to set up and use.” It normally costs 1,700 Mexican pesos, but today on Amazon it is $999.

Roku Streaming Stick 4K

Roku has several good devices available, but Streaming Sticks are WIRED’s favorite. “Affordable, small, fast and come with a longer range wireless receiver. They also plug directly into your TV’s HDMI port, so you won’t see them dangling. This one comes with a voice remote control, so you can press and hold the microphone button to ask it to play specific programs,” Medea Giordano tells us. The normal price is 1,499 Mexican pesos, but the early offer leaves it at 1,199 direct from Roku.

We have already told you that it is not always a good idea to change your iPhone, especially if a new one has been released, since old models lose their value and then do not receive updates. If you are interested in knowing which one is best for you, and you don’t want the latest model, here is the list of which iPhones you should take advantage of in Buen Fin.

However, the iPhone 15 Pro has fast processors and is the only older iPhone to support Apple Intelligence in iOS 18.1. Julian Chokkattu, also a WIRED reviewer, advises you: “Practically, these models will begin to disappear from stores, but you can buy refurbished ones on Amazon. You may also be able to get a new or mint one on resale websites.”

Originally, we at WIRED were sure that the iPad (10th generation) (7/10, WIRED rating) was an awkward choice. For WIRED reviewers Julian Chokkattu and Brenda Stoylar, “it was too expensive for a basic iPad and the ninth generation version was better value for money. But now that Apple has reduced the price of this iPad by $100 and also discontinued the previous version, we think the 10th generation is the best one for most people. It’s powered by Apple’s A14 Bionic chip, the same one found in the iPhone 12, which Apple claims delivers 20% faster performance and a 10% increase in graphics compared to its predecessor; “He never felt slow in testing.”

Echo Spot 2024

Fresh out of the oven, the Amazon Echo Spot 2024 is a smart alarm clock that looks great wherever it is placed. For Jorge Garay, also a WIRED reviewer, “it is quite useful to the extent that users are accustomed to using the Alexa assistant and more services are interconnected within the company’s ecosystem. It’s a gadget simple. Its presence probably won’t take up much space in your head and won’t require extra attention except when setting it up for the first time, but therein lies its charm.” Right now it has a 29% discount on Amazon.

The Super Mario Bros. Wonder game was one of the best titles to come out for Nintendo Switch during 2023. Oppo Reno 12

This year Oppo ventured into Artificial Intelligence (AI) with two interesting phones: the Reno 12F and Reno 12. The latter is the one that offers the best features and has a more elegant format. “Curved screen, superior processor, better sensor for the main camera and faster fast charging are its main differentiating elements,” wrote Jorge Garay in his review for WIRED en Español.

With an Oppo Reno 12 you can try a terminal with tangible generative AI functions, such as article summaries or removing objects in photos with a single touch. The phone has only been out for a few months, but it already has a 1,000 pesos discount and, if you buy it through Amazon, you can use a coupon with an additional 15% (1,600 pesos).

The PlayStation Portal integrates an 8-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The playback speed for video games is 60 fps. It has a 3.5mm jack for wired headphones.
