In the fleet of Italian police the electric car arrives Tesla Modelprobably in the best performing Plaid version, to operate on the motorway section between Venice and Padua. This vehicle was purchased from Cav Spa for operational use of Venice Polstradaas part of a tender launched for the supply of a high-performance electric vehicle.

The first example was shown in November 2023 in the presence of the Chief of Police Vittorio Pisani The electric car was set up with the specifications requested by Polstrada, with the Stradale logo, a new yellow and blue reflective side band on the base of the doors and the CAV logo visible on the rear bonnet and front doors.
Respect to blue flashing lights of the classic “panthers”, those of the Model 'car.
Autonomy of the electric police car
The Tesla Model 576 km for the basic version e 543 km for the Plaid, used by the Police. In Italy two variants are available, both with one 100 kWh battery: The base Model 99,990 euros and the Model X Plaid from 114,990 euros.
The first offers 685 HP of power, while the Plaid reaches further 1,020 HP. Both versions boast exceptional performance, with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds for the Model 2.6 seconds for Plaidwhich has a maximum speed of 262 km/h12 km/h more than the basic version.
