Mexico City.- The Specialized Chamber of the Electoral Court of the Judicial Power of the Federation (TEPJF), considered that the decree that allows public servants to promote the Revocation of the Mandate of Andrés Manuel López Obrador, does not apply to this consultation or other democratic processes that are underway.
This was pointed out by the presiding magistrate of the Specialized Chamber, Rubén Lara, who indicated that this measure cannot be applied to the present processes because the application of the principles that govern these processes could be altered.
“This specification of the scope of the concepts to which the decree refers is fundamental and therefore should not apply to electoral processes that have already begun, because then the application of the principles that govern these exercises could be altered. comical”, Rubén Lara mentioned.
The minister explained that allowing this decree to apply to these processes could alter the rules of the rules to which they are going to submit and that will determine the route of both the Revocation of the Mandate and the elections.
