Comedian Dave Chappelle has commented on a comedy show published by Netflix The Closer, which has sparked protests because the content has been allegedly hate speech against transgender people.
Chappelle shares his views On Instagram in a video released on Monday, filmed on Sunday while he performed in Louisville. Chappelle says it has been alleged in the media that he refused to come to speak to trans people working at Netflix.

Chappelle he is not in dispute with the LGBTQ community but the case is about the commercial interests of companies and freedom of speech.
He is willing to “give the trans community an audience,” but is not going to “bow” to anyone’s demands. He sets three conditions for meeting with representatives of the trans community.
