Tekken 8 has sold more than double Of Street Fighter 6 at the launch in the UK: this was revealed by Christopher Dring, director of GamesIndustry.biz, in his now inevitable post which anticipates the data of the English ranking.
“Last year I was surprised by how low sales of Street Fighter 6 were in the UK, at least in physical format (the game did well digitally),” Dring wrote. “I was wondering if it was about a trend that involved the entire genre.”
“However physical sales of Tekken 8 have been good, more than double those achieved at launch by the Capcom fighting game. So, who knows? Maybe it was just a competition issue.”
