A tuner that goes for chic? Yes, the Techart GTsport is suddenly for the connoisseur.
The world of modified cars is huge. It's not all old Honda Civics with chutes, neon lights and owners who dryly claim that Paul Walker was a better actor than Anthony Hopkins. It can go either way.
Sometimes you can even choose multiple things from one company. In this case it is the case with Techart. This Porsche breeder from Leonberg has lately been – in general – only suitable for the less shy Porsche driver.
But now there is GTsport Techart. The basis for this is the Porsche 911 Turbo S. The car is now completely 'finished', but Techart saw room for improvement. There is a 'front apron' (which you mount on the original bumper) with optional carbon fiber 'canards' and air intakes in the side (possibly also carbon fiber).

The same applies to the rear bumper, which is equipped with a carbon diffuser. The carbon fiber theme continues with the hood, which can optionally be supplied in 'naked' carbon, but is therefore painted in body color as standard. You can then complete this set with other mirror covers. Techart then finishes it off with the necessary badges.
Of course, the tuner also has a set of wheels on offer. You can choose from the Formula VI Race or Formula VII Race rims. You can optionally equip the first with aerodiscs.
By Techart standards, these are all fairly modest modifications. The end result certainly doesn't look bad. The great thing about a subtly modified car is that it looks original. If Porsche were to make a 911 Turbo GT, it would look like this, don't you think?
Faster!
Does such a Techart GTsport go faster than a standard copy? Well, a 911 Turbo S of the 992 generation is of course very fast. Still, TechArt was able to find some room for improvement. With the TechArt TA092/T1.1 upgrade (an external ECU), the power increases from 650 hp to 710 hp and the maximum torque from 800 Nm to 900 Nm.
Optionally, you can order the TECHART Power Kit TA 092/T2.1 kit, which will also give you a set of hybrid turbos, increasing the power to 800 hp and the torque to 950 Nm. Then it is possible to reach 350 km/h!
Finally the interior. Porsche can do a lot for you there via 'Exclusive Manufaktur', but the workshop at Techart goes (much) further. In principle you can order anything, as long as you pay. So bright purple whale penis leather with dried beetroot inlay is certainly possible. Well, probably not, but you get the gist.
Just like the GR Yaris facelift and Nissan Ariya Nismo, TechArt will shine with these cars at the Tokyo Motor Show. If you are interested, you have to be quick. TechArt will make 30 kits for GTsport.
