Based on clues from his phone and social media account, authorities questioned the professor who admitted to possessing more weapons, the police officer said.
“According to the information received from him, we recovered another firearm from his office, 81 bullets and eight Burmese machetes. We arrested him after the victim's father filed a complaint against him,” he said.
The director of the university told EFE that the professor had been teaching community medicine at the faculty for a year.
“In the last three months, we also noticed unusual behavior (…) We have now initiated the process of departmental action against him.“he assured.
