The Escudería Telmex driver will return to the legendary Indianapolis Motors Speedway (IMS), often affectionately known as the “Brickyard,” home of the world-famous Indianapolis 500, for the six-hour “battle of the bricks” on September 22 with the Gradient Racing team.
This will be the penultimate event on the five-round calendar of the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup, with only Petit Le Mans left on the calendar after the Indianapolis race.

Despite the long three-month gap since the previous round at Watkins Glen in June, the Colombian rider has kept busy with her usual intense physical training regime.
She is also continuing with work on the simulator, karting and testing on the new FIA Formula 3 car for 2025 that she has helped develop, working on ergonomics for women so that the car will suit any driver. She also recently visited Mexico City in her capacity as ambassador for the upcoming Formula 1 Mexican Grand Prix.
The “battle on the bricks” will take place on the 3.925km IMS circuit, which incorporates the start and finish straight of the historic oval. “I’m really looking forward to getting back in the car. It’s been a while since the last race in Watkins Glen “I’m excited to see the team again after such a long break. In the meantime, I’ve been keeping busy, doing some simulation work and helping with the development of the new FIA Formula 3 car,” Tatiana said.
And he added: “I was in Mexico promoting the next Mexican Grand Prix, “I am very proud to be an ambassador for this event along with Ivanna Richards and Santiago Ramos. We did a media tour there and I am very excited to return to Mexico from October 25-27 to feel that F1 vibe that the city has. That has helped me stay busy in the interval between races.”
Tatiana hopes to extend the team’s good run this season and spoke about what it will be like to race on a circuit as legendary as Indianapolis.
“From Watkins Glen, “The team has done a great job in the short races. They got on the podium at Road America, so I hope we can do the same in the remaining endurance races. Indianapolis is a special place for any racing driver and I have great memories of my time in IndyCar. It will be my first time driving a GT car there, but I really enjoyed my previous experience so I hope we can have a positive result.”
