TALES of ARISE: no anime scheduled, the producer reiterates it

Interviewed by Famitsuthe producer of TALES of ARISE, Yusuke Tomizawareiterates once again that there are no plans for a successful anime adaptation of the JRPG branded BANDAI NAMCO Entertainmentdespite the recent animated trailer launched by the studio ufotable.

In the past, several titles of the saga have received an animated adaptation, such as Tales of Symphonia, Tales of the Abyss and more recently Tales of Zestiria. In the words of the producer:

“Everything about TALES of ARISE was built around the idea that it was a game, like the storyline and the overall experience. We don’t intend to tell the same story through an animated adaptation. “

TALES of ARISE is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC. Here you can find our review of the title. We just have to put our souls at peace about a possible anime adaptation and enjoy only the splendid cutscenes present within the game.
