TAG Airlines will connect Guatemala City with Mérida, Yucatán

Merida.- TAG Airlinesthe Mundo Maya airline, advances in the consolidation of its strategy to strengthen the actions to promote travel and tourism with the state of Yucatan.

Julio Gamero, CEO of TAG Airlinesthe flag carrier of Guatemala, makes a working visit to the entity and will hold working meetings with authorities from the Yucatan Secretariat for Economic Development, with the Association of Tourism Promotion Agencies of Yucatan (Aaprotuy) and with the Directorate of Economic Development and Tourism of the Mérida City Council.

Similarly, will hold meetings with directors of the National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism of Mérida (Concanaco Seritur) and the Employers’ Confederation of the Mexican Republic (Coparmex-Mérida); in addition to meetings with representatives of the Universidad del Mayab and the Universidad del Valle de México.

The objective of this visit is to strengthen ties of cooperation to boost the promotion of the destinations of the Mayan World, specifically the state of Yucatan, which represent an enormous attraction for national and foreign travelers.

He detailed that TAG Airlines prepares the details for its new route that will connect Guatemala City with Mérida, Yucatánwhich will start operations in the first quarter of this year.
