Samuel Cosmo died after being shot in the face while patrolling in Santos on January 2; “There is no place for criminals here”, said Governor Romeu Zema
The governor of Minas Gerais, Romeo Zema (New), stated that the 17th BPM (Military Police Battalion) of Uberlândia (MG) arrested the suspect of killing Rota soldier (Rondas Ostensivas Tobias de Aguiar) Samuel Wesley Cosmo. On February 2, the soldier was shot in the face during routine patrol in the Bom Retiro neighborhood, in Santos, on the coast of São Paulo.
“There’s no place for criminals here”declared Zema in his profile on X (ex-Twitter). He said the arrest of the suspect is yet another “important response to crime”. To the Power360the 17th BPM of Uberlândia confirmed the arrest.
