Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Pride Office, confirmed that volunteering has become a characteristic of the people of the Emirates, bearing the humanitarian imprints of the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul.
He said: “With the sixth anniversary of the launch of the National Volunteer Platform, which coincides today (yesterday), we are pleased to express our pride and pride in this pioneering project that reflects our established values and principles of giving, cooperation and solidarity, which were instilled in us by the late Sheikh Zayed, God willing, and have become… A distinctive feature of our society.”
Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoun added: “Since the founding of our beloved state, we have realized that the true strength of nations lies in the unity and solidarity of their people… Volunteering is not just charitable work, it is a bridge that connects different groups of society, and enhances the feeling of belonging and shared responsibility.
