Sultan Al Qasimi receives the Secretary General of the Islamic Fiqh Academy

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, received yesterday morning Dr. Qutb Mustafa Sano, Secretary-General of the Islamic Fiqh Academy of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, at the home of Dr. Sultan Al Qasimi. His Highness and the Secretary-General of the Islamic Fiqh Academy exchanged conversations on a number of issues of common interest between the two sides, which would enhance cooperation in various fields, and contribute to spreading the correct and moderate image of the true Islamic religion. At the end of the meeting, His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah received a souvenir from the Secretary-General of the Islamic Fiqh Academy of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
In addition, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, issued Law No./4/ of 2021 AD regarding the organization of the Sharjah Education Academy. The law stipulated that the name of the academy be adopted in English as follows: “Sharjah Education Academy,” known as “SEA,” and that the academy’s main headquarters should be in Sharjah.
According to the law, the Academy aims to support and develop the education sector by preparing and qualifying educational cadres and educational leaders in the field of education, and by offering innovative and accredited academic and professional programs at the levels of postgraduate diplomas, masters and doctorates in the fields of education.
It also aims to provide the latest professional and training programs according to the needs of the educational community, develop and enhance opportunities for scientific research and the movement of authorship and translation in the field of education, in addition to highlighting the educational status of the Emirate and promoting the Academy to be a scientific, cultural and national center for education. The law also stipulates that the academy is responsible for drawing up general policies and strategic plans related to the work of the academy and necessary for offering educational and training programs in it, and based on the requirements of the labor market in the field of education, and for presenting and offering academic and professional curricula and programs for educational cadres and educational leaders, as well as granting accredited certificates with scientific and academic degrees. and professionalism for its beneficiaries in accordance with the rules and regulations adopted by the Academy.
It also specializes in designing and developing educational and training programs that are consistent with the objectives of the Academy and presenting them in accordance with the educational style system adopted by the Academy, and providing training, professional development and consultancy services for all members of the educational community.
