In the Swedish capital Stockholm, some residents had reason to be disgusted because an accident suddenly caused dog feces to rain down a street.

Last week there was a planned underground explosion in a subway station in Stockholm, according to the Swedish news portal, among others mitti.se reported. The pressure wave generated also cleaned the ventilation pipes, among other things. What no one had expected: The explosion caused bags of dog feces to shoot out of a pipe protruding from the ground. The almost 50 bags were thrown almost 30 meters into the air and the contents spread around.
The residents of the region, on the other hand, claim to have counted significantly more excrement bags: “At least a hundred,” quoted mitti.se one of them. Some of the bags are said to have even flown over the roofs and into the courtyards. The cleanup work is scheduled to take place within the next two weeks. However, the cleaning company is prevented from cleaning more quickly due to the low temperatures: “It's snowing, below zero degrees and very windy, so you can't let anyone up with a lifting platform.”
Reddit users are amused by the dog poop rain in Stockholm
After the incident with the dog waste bags, those responsible asked themselves how they got into the pipe. The most likely scenario is that one or more dog owners repeatedly disposed of their poop bags in the pipe instead of throwing them in a trash can. The story also received attention on Reddit, with a post about it receiving almost 700 upvotes in a very short time. A Post about a disgusting schnitzel however, caused outrage.
Reddit users had fun in the comments: “My thoughts are with those who had to go through this shit,” was the top comment. “What a funny story…if you weren't in the line of fire of course,” joked another. One user simply commented “Shit happens.” A resident also didn’t take the matter too seriously: “Luckily no one was hurt.
