Three out of every four children and adolescents (75.4%) have experienced a situation of sexual violence in the digital sphere before reaching the age of majority, according to a study carried out by the Mutua Madrileña Foundation and the Civil Guard. To raise awareness among parents and children and try to stop situations of sexual violence Through the screens, both entities launched the initiative “It will not continue” a few months ago.
Through three short and impactful videos, “It will not continue” aims to raise awareness of the risk and possible consequences of sending intimate content through mobile phones or the risk of talking to strangers. To stop it, they recommend supervising our children’s online activity and not forwarding compromised content, among others.
The three videos, which already accumulate more than 2 million viewscan be seen on the social profiles of the Mutua Madrileña Foundation and the Civil Guard. In addition, they are being used by agents in the hundreds of talks and violence prevention activities that they organize in schools and institutes throughout Spain.
